Parallel Lines
Students should be able to:
- describe and identify parallel lines or segments in the environment.
What can you learn by looking at the letter H?
When we take the line out of the middle of the H, we see two lines that are the same
distance apart and run forever but never
intersect, or meet. When two lines run forever but never intersect they are called
parallel lines.
When you look at the letter H, you see parallel lines, or lines that never intersect.
