misterteacher
is Jamie Tubbs. I am, first and foremost, a middle school teacher (5th
grade). Now in my ninth year of teaching, I have experience teaching multiple
grade-levels and subject areas. Incorporating technology has always
been one of my passions.
Over the past few years, I have developed an interest
in sharing my classroom experiences with other teachers. As a result,
I have presented many sessions at various conferences, district inservices,
and even taught a graduate course on blogs. Below is a list of the work
I have done with teachers.
misterteacher.com was originally a site I created for
my students back before Web 2.0 became mainstream. After I started using
blogs with my students (and I no longer needed to maintain my own classroom
site) I decided to begin publishing resources for teachers on misterteacher.com.
By far the most popular pages on the site are the Alphabet Geometry pages,
particularly the one covering transformations.
I am constantly trying to think of new ideas for resources
and am open to suggestions. Please let me know if you have any ideas for
new web pages, animations, lesson plans, etc. that I can add!
